Salvation Diagram
The Brazen Altar was the place that represented repentance in the tabernacle. The high priest would bring the young lamb to the Brazen Altar and sacrifice it. Jesus took the place of the lamb, and the cross took the place of the Brazen Altar! Before salvation can take place there has to be a place of repentance. Notice that the Brazen Altar is at the foot of the Cross, That is where we want to stay!
